In this role, you will be responsible for processing products in your department while ensuring that hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards are always maintained. A key part of this role is working as part of a team to achieve production KPIs. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 5:45 am - 17:45 pm Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday - 5:45 am - 17:45 pm Team C: Working hours are: Monday - Friday 17:45pm - 02:00am Key Responsibilities Carry out processing duties (e.g., filleting, sealing, trimming, basting, packing, defeathering or evisceration - depending on the area of work). Ensure hygiene, safety, and quality standards are maintained at all times. Operate machinery safely and efficiently. Produce a high standard of work consistently. Perform packaging, labelling, and boxing tasks. Work in line with company policies and health & safety regulations. Cooperate with managers and colleagues to achieve a safe and productive workplace. Report hazards, defects, or incidents promptly. Health & Safety Responsibilities Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others. Work in a safe manner and comply with Company Health & Safety Rules. Wear protective clothing and equipment provided. Report incidents or hazards immediately. What We're Looking For Essential: Ability to read and write . Numeracy skills. Good communication skills. English language proficiency . Desirable: Good interpersonal skills. A food hygiene qualification. Awareness of Food Processing industry standards. Knife handling experience. Previous experience in a butchery or food processing environment.
